Zpey ambassador, 30 years of fishing and 100+ trips a year. Mainfishing is seatout and salmon, but also browntrout, char and grayling is in my net every season.
Have been flyfishing around the world, Mongolia, Kola Peninsula, Cuba, South-Africa, Iceland, Greenland, Azores, Bornholm, Gotland and Denmark. Every season I travel for salmon fishing specially in Finnmark in Norway, but also Gaula, Orkla, Stjørdalselva in the middle of Norway have been visited. My home river is Glomma and Ågårdselva in Østfold.
My favorite gear setup depends of the fishing, but one handed flyrod (Zpey Zwitch 11’) is my favorite in Finnmark for small salmon. If it is possible for bigger salmon and early season I use the Ztealth 13,5 feet two handed rod. The hybrid lines is awesome! Its much easier to control the depth and speed of fly with that line!
Home at coast I almost use light weighted gear as Dreamcatcher II # 3-5 for seatrout. For browntrout, char and grayling I often use the same setup, but different flylines.
