The focus of the camp centers around casting instruction, fishing techniques, and the choice of flies and set up of flylines
The aim of this salmon fishing camp / school is to equip you with the knowledge necessary for fishing with a two-handed fly rod for salmon in Danish rivers, especially Skjern River.
Suggested gear 12-13 feet, two-handed rods, class #7 / #8 / #9 - equipment is available to rent or borrow if needed.
PROGRAM
Sunday, 4:00 PM: Review of fishing equipment, fly lines, flies, and instructions at the casting pool in the garden followed by dinner in the campfire hut.
Monday, 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM: We will go to the river and begin instruction / guided fishing.
1:30 PM - lunch at the lodge.
2:30 PM - 7:00 PM - Free fishing.
8:00 PM - Dinner at the lodge.
Tuesday, 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM: We will go to the river and start instruction / guided fishing.
1:30 PM - Lunch at the lodge.
2:30 PM - 7:00 PM - Free fishing.
8:00 PM - Dinner at the lodge.
Wednesday, 9:00 AM - breakfast / check-out and optional free fishing.
This is an ALL-INCLUSIVE trip, where you are only responsible for your fishing license and any additional drinks. Fishing will be at the Borris or Skjernådalen stretch depending on conditions
Water/beer/wine is included in all meals.
You will be accommodated in a single room in the lodge, and bedding, towels, and other necessities are included.
Each camp can accommodate seven people.
